Kinal, Tom

Tom Kinal was born in Michigan and later split his life between North Carolina and Ohio. His professional background includes work as a machinist, home builder, and tool designer. After retiring, Tom built his home in Rutherfordton, NC, where he now devotes his time to woodworking and fine furniture creation.

Tom sources much of his wood locally in Western North Carolina, with select pieces coming from Wisconsin through his nephew. He enjoys designing and building benches and tables, as well as smaller projects such as mirrors, cutting boards, lazy Susans, and wall plaques. Tom hopes his work brings lasting enjoyment as each piece is thoughtfully created.
