Messick, Elyse Therrien

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Elyse Therrien Messick is a multimedia artist whose work spans painting, photography, and mixed media. She studied fine art in New York City and Los Angeles, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with an emphasis in photography and painting. Elyse’s artwork has been exhibited in galleries across New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, and California, and has been featured in People magazine. She has also served as a keynote speaker at several creative workshops throughout New England. 

Growing up surrounded by open fields in the quiet town of Litchfield deeply influenced Elyse’s artistic perspective. Her mother and grandmother nurtured her appreciation for nature during countless explorations of the family land, moments that continue to inspire her creative process today. Elyse now resides in the mountains of North Carolina with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Remi.
