In 1998, Beatrixbell started in an EZ up tent next to a pecan stand at a local farmer's market in southern Louisiana. They have since blossomed into a boutique brand that has been featured in over 200 brick & mortar stores across the United States. Artist and designer Beatrix Bell creates each piece with skillful craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. In the Spring of 2017, they opened their brick & mortar retail location in New Orleans Louisiana. Beatrixbell Handcrafted Jewelry & Gift is a stone's throw from the Mighty Mississippi River in a picturesque outpost of historic Algiers Point. This sets the scene for their handmade gift boutique and namesake jewelry studio where they create artisan jewelry to indulge your self-curated style. Each piece of jewelry is crafted in-house using mixed metals, lustrous patinas, gemstones, and other unexpected elements. They also offer an array of accessories, art, gifts, and curated items with an emphasis on local treasures and handmade wares. Artist and designer, Beatrix Bell is a Louisiana native. When she's not making jewelry or managing her multiple businesses, you can find her riding bikes, searching for oyster shells and sea glass, drinking fancy New Orleans cocktails, reading books, and failing miserably at baking. Oh, and of course spending time with her BFF husband, cool tween, and adorable pups!
